The Stables

Located in the charming village of Arcangues, just a few minutes from Biarritz, the Écuries du Château provide an ideal setting for family stays in the heart of the Basque Country. Nestled within a vast estate and surrounded by a magnificent wooded park, this character property occupies the former stables of the neighboring castle.

Combining the character of Basque architecture with high-end contemporary services, the property seduces with its elegant and authentic atmosphere. Each space has been carefully thought out to offer comfort and refinement. With an area of approximately 250 m², it can accommodate up to 11 people thanks to its 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

INTERIOR
On the ground floor, the entrance opens onto an intimate courtyard facing the chapel. The main living room includes a spacious dining room and a lounge organized into two distinct areas: one around the fireplace, the other dedicated to relaxation and television. The fully equipped kitchen is integrated with a laundry room and separate pantry. Two double bedrooms, each with their own private shower room (shower, washbasin, and toilet), are also on this level, as well as a separate guest toilet.

Upstairs, an extra bedroom with a single bed is set up on a mezzanine half-landing. Higher up, two double bedrooms that can be configured as single beds share a bathroom, a shower room, and a separate toilet. A master suite with a private bathroom, double washbasin, and toilet completes this floor. It also features a mezzanine housing an office space.

EXTERIOR
A courtyard provides parking for vehicles and hosts a ping-pong table. Out of sight, a charming inner courtyard with a fountain and garden lounge invites relaxation. A chapel separates the house from the pool area (accessible upon prior request with the owners' agreement).

The independent pool area includes a fully equipped pool house with an outdoor kitchenette, shower, toilet, integrated audio system, and a large table for outdoor dining. Upon request, the estate also offers access to a bowling green and a tennis court. The carefully landscaped grounds combine lush vegetation, exotic flowers, and various trees, creating an environment as soothing as it is exceptional.
